More info on the Persepolis Project

Please read at least one article for each topic listed.

Intro

  • Basically a title page
  • Name your project and write your name on the slide


Make at least one slide for each topic.

Here are some questions you can answer:

The Shah

  • Who was he?
  • How long was he in power?
  • Which countries were his allies? 
  • How did the people feel about him? 
  • Was the country more eastern or more western under his rule? Explain.

The Islamic Conquest
  • This is the history of Islam in Iran
  • What is the brief history of how Shia Islam came to the region near Iran?
  • If you find a website you would rather use for information, please email me the link so I can look at it. I have no problem with you using other websites.

Women in Iran
  • Basically explain women in society before and after the revolution.
  • What changed for them? Explain.
Religions in Iran
  • What are different religions in Iran? Has the number of other religions changed since the revolution?
Education in Iran
  • What is the education system like in Iran?
  • Has it changed since the revolution?
Cinema in Iran
  • How did movies and topics for art change after the revolution?
Music of Iran
  • What characterizes the music in Iran?
  • Has anything changed about Iranian music since the revolution?
